What is the pay?

Officials earn between $85 and $105 per game. The exact amount depends on the conference and the number of games assigned. For example, officiating multiple games in one day may increase total earnings. This pay scale reflects the level of responsibility and experience required for each conference.

When are the games played?

Games take place every day of the week, with schedules covering both daytime and nighttime slots. This flexibility allows officials to choose assignments that fit their availability. Being prepared for varied game times is important for planning your officiating commitments.

When is the season?

The flag football season runs from mid-February through June 1st. This period includes regular season games and any postseason events. Officials should expect consistent assignments during these months, with some variation depending on the conference.

What are the uniform requirements?

All officials must wear uniforms provided by All Sports Officials. The required items include:

  • Hat with the official CFFOA logo, or a plain black hat with white piping.

  • Shirt featuring 2-inch black and white stripes with the CFFOA logo.

  • Shoes/cleats that are predominantly black, paired with black socks.

  • Pants that are black with a white side stripe, or all black shorts.

Uniforms maintain a professional and consistent appearance across all conferences. You can view and order the official gear at allsportsofficials.com.
